RSSCloud, a PubSubHubbub alternative?

Great news for all RSS advocates: Dave Winer somehow convinced Matt Mullenweg to automatically support RSSCloud on all WordPress.com blogs.
Quoting ReadWriteWeb, who apparently broke the news:
